✨ Lucia brought the light to the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Hungary & Team Sweden in Hungary once again ✨
This year’s Lucia Gala Dinner was truly special — not only celebrating a beloved Swedish tradition, but also closing the Swedish Chamber’s 30th anniversary year in Hungary in an unforgettable way.

💬 Highlights of the program included:
– An inspiring speech by H.E. Diana Madunic, Ambassador of Sweden to Hungary, on the Lucia tradition, Swedish values, and the power of cooperation
– Reflections from Roland Jakab, President of the Swedish Chamber, on Nobel Day and how innovation continues to connect Sweden and Hungary
– A stage interview with Vice Presidents György Nagy and Laszlo Gabor Nith, focusing on how our members live by key values such as sustainability, innovation, and equality — all beautifully showcased in the “30 Years of Swedish Highlights in Hungary” publication, along with a forward-looking perspective
– A magical Lucia performance by Tutti Cantabile
– A delicious dinner featuring Swedish and international flavors
– A raffle with valuable prizes offered by Volvo Cars Hungary, Electrolux Group Hungary, Fjällräven, Life and Ways, PURO Hotels, and Illés Winery.

🎶 The emotional highlight of the night:
Barbara Schoblocher, together with Tímea Papp, Diána Dancsó, and Ildikó Horváth from Danubia Orchestra/Danubia Zenekar, performed a selection of popular Swedish songs — specially recomposed for this occasion. A truly unique musical tribute that left many of us with tears in our eyes.

🕺 The celebration concluded on a high note with Benedek Nagy alias DJ Parafa setting the mood for dancing.
