*Péter Ákos BOD, Professor
Economist, professor of the Economic Policy Department and MBA School at Corvinus University of Budapest.
Dr. Bod had a research and academic carrier before the regime change. Joined the Cabinet of PM J. Antall in 1990 as Economic Minister with a portfolio including industry, trade, tourism, and construction. He was elected Governor of the Hungarian National Bank in 1991. After 1995, he served as board member at European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (London), then returned to academia in 1998. Professor Bod is active as board member of several companies and professional journals, and as Chairman of Budapest Economic Club. He is a vice-president of the Hungarian Economic Society, member of the advisory board to National Research and Innovation Office. Married, with three children.
