The official opening of JUNIOR GOLF ACADEMY, Hungary will take place at Csákberény Golf Resort just outside of Csákberény the first of April.

The event is so called open house event, meaning that everyone is welcome to join the opening ceremony. JUNIOR GOLF ACADEMY, Hungary is a non-profit foundation with the aim to make the golf sport grow in Hungary. That will be done by offering young people, in the age between 7 and 18, the possibility to try and to learn to play golf for free. By doing that the foundation contributes to give young people a meaningful spear time and a healthier lifestyle.

Dear SCCH members and sport friends,

The Olympic and World Champions 2006, in icehockey, the Swedish "Tre Kronor" - Team Sweden- will come to Hungary for a training camp in Budapest, end of March this year. During their stay here they will play two exhibition games against "Team Hungary" on the 29th of March in Budapest (in the László Papp Budapest Sport Arena) and on the 30th in Debrecen.

On the latest SCCH Board meeting, on january 25th, the Management Board were introduced to this sport event by the Hungarian Icehockey Federation.
The Board decided to support the event and accepted a proposal for the game on the 29th of March, where the members of SCCH are offered to buy VIP-tickets at a "packet price" of HUF 12000:- /person, including:

- separate section of the arena,
- a separate lounge, exclusively for the SCCH members and their distinguished guests, to be used before the game, in the intermissions and after the game
- free food and drink buffet, in our lounge

The SCCH Secretariat is also having direct negotiations with representatives of the leadership of "Tre Kronor" and "Team Hungary" and other possible V.I.P. guests, to visit our lounge during the evening.

(Pls Note! For members who does not want to purchase the special "VIP-package", there are of course possibilities to buy tickets for other sections as well and to a lower price. The Hungarian Bandy was a miracle in the middle of Europe. It was (re)established in 1989 with Swedish support, and since that time we are a very active members of the international bandy life. The Hungarian team already participated on 10 world Championships, 3 world Cups and several international competitions.

In 2004 Budapest hosted the World Championships for B group with great success.

In 2006 I was elected Vice President of Federation of International Bandy (FIB). In this season we plan to organise in Budapest the first International Training Camp and the FIB Cup, and beside to attend the World Championships in Kemerovo, Russia for man but our major event is the Woman World Championships to be organised in Budapest.

This would be the first time ever when Hungarian woman team would participate on the World Championships and my aim is to have a record number of countries having all 7 ladies team in Budapest (SWE, RUS, FIN, NOR, USA, CAN , HUN).

Maybe you know that the 2004 World Championships in Budapest in cooperation with the Swedish Federation was a great success, with a lot of Swedish interests (main sponsor was AstraZeneca, the event was included in the "svédületes" program with the active support of the Swedish Embassy, SCCH and others).

As on the Woman World Championships the Swedish team is the favourite, I am sure there will be a great interest from Sweden.
